Supplements for Hormones and Wellness

I’m a firm believer that most illnesses can be prevented or treated naturally. In addition to a healthy and balanced diet, there are lots of supplements available that you can take to take your health to an optimum level and prevent illness. Please do your own research and talk to your doctor before starting any kind of supplementation. I am not a medical professional and what works for me may not work for you.

My Supplements

Everything I take is for skin, energy, sleep, and to balance my hormones. My vitamin and mineral intake is on point, so I do not supplement those unless I am traveling for work because I eat a pretty balanced diet. I also drink 100 ounces or so of water a day. I will note below what I take and why, but please do your research to see if this is something for you. If I have a favorite brand I linked it below, the rest can be found at your local nutrition store or Amazon.

Morning

  • Iodine (hormones)
  • Collagen (skin and nails)
  • D-phenylalanine (hormones)
  • Iron (energy)
  • Maca Root (hormones)
  • Calcium D-Glucarate (hormones)

Evening

  • GABA (sleep)
  • Melatonin/Valerian root (sleep and hormones)
  • ZMA (sleep and hormones)
  • Magnesium (sleep)
  • Ashawaghanda (hormones)
